Domain Lead for Financial Reporting & Planning. This role provides SME guidance and support in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Reporting & Planning solutions for our customers. The consultant will work closely with customers to understand their business requirements, tailor the Workday Fins system to meet those needs, and ensure smooth adoption of best practices. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that enhance Fins processes, data accuracy, and overall system efficiency for the customer.
Key Job Responsibilities- Lead and participate in workstreams focused on the set up and configuration and optimisation of Workday reporting & planning solutions based on complex customer needs within agreed methodologies.
- Execute AMS tickets in the consultant's specialist function area(s).
- Identify opportunities for tenant enhancements and recommend improvements to maximise value to the customer's investment.
- Contributes to the evolution of implementation methodologies.
- Leads customer scoping, requirement gathering workshops and customer confirmation sessions.
- Translates customer requirements into detailed project scopes, ensuring customer expectations are effectively managed through delivery/subsequent changes.
- Coordinate testing efforts for the workstream and problem solve complex issues with minimal support.
- Provides support and guidance to more junior team members.
- Contributes to the planning and delivery of data migration and cut over phases ensuring milestones are met.
- Collaborates effectively with other teams, eg Change, Testing, PMO as required.
- Contributes to business development through ensuring effective billing and change order activities and the contribution to RFPs.
- Any other duties which may reasonably be assigned from time to time.
- Workday Implementer experience.
- Workday Certified (current or expired).
- Experience configuring other Workday modules.
- Experience of multiple Workday implementations.
- 10+ years of experience of Workday Adaptive configuration experience.
- 5+ years of experience of Workday PRISM solution design and build.
- Thorough knowledge of Workday reporting tools.
- Experience of designing and configuring reporting solutions in a variety of geographies/industries.
- Experience of migrating and loading Customer data.
- Experience of managing & developing others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Consultative in their customer approach.
- Possesses excellent oral & written communication skills.
- Fluent English (written/spoken).
