Our fast-growing team is looking for a UK Payroll Specialist who can bring their own unique energy and enthusiasm to work with multi-national companies in the UK region in order to promote a culture of continuous improvement. The UK Payroll Specialist will be responsible for supporting associate members of the payroll team alongside processing payrolls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and expertise to Payroll Associates
- Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently
- Ensure all data required is processed and accurate in line with tight deadlines
- Checking payroll input and output to ensure 100% accuracy
- Reviewing existing payroll processes to seek out improvements
- Resolving ticket and email queries promptly and effectively from both internal and external customers
- Act as a backup to the senior during the absence on payroll processing issues
Attributes and Experience Required:
- Good knowledge and experience in UK end-to-end payroll processing
- Business software experience required: MS Excel, MS Word, Email Apps
- Good knowledge of UK payroll legal requirements, statutory forms and reporting
- Excellent time management, administration, and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
- Team player with the ability to share information and interact positively with others
- Responsible for prioritizing clientβs payroll and delivering payroll as required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bureau experience is preferable, but not essential
