You will work collaboratively across teams to ensure all data is accurate and delivered on time, resolve queries efficiently, and help maintain CloudPay's high standards of payroll excellence. Responsibilities
- Process multiple UK payrolls accurately, on time, and in line with client and statutory requirements.
- Provide support and subject matter expertise to Payroll Associates as needed.
- Review and validate payroll input and output data to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies and correct payroll errors before final processing.
- Respond to payroll queries from internal teams and clients via ticketing and email systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing payroll processes and contribute to solution development.
- Act as backup to senior payroll team members during their absence to ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of UK end-to-end payroll processing, including statutory regulations and reporting.
- Proficiency with business tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and email platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, timely payrolls.
- Comfortable prioritizing multiple payrolls and managing workload effectively.
- Confident communicator, capable of building relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a payroll bureau environment is beneficial but not essential.
