The Ireland Payroll Specialist will be responsible for supporting other members of the payroll team alongside processing payrolls. This role involves processing multiple payrolls for clients accurately, on time and efficiently, providing support to Payroll Associates and to clients on all payroll-related matters, including acting as a back-up coverage for holidays or emergencies. The role also includes maintaining payroll information and records on the CloudPay payroll application, researching discrepancies to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures, and preparing reports, tax filings, correspondence, and other written materials for compliance with statutory IE authorities. It also involves compiling and filing required reports for relevant government agencies and participating in process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Process multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently.
  • Provide support and expertise to Payroll Associates.
  • Provide support to clients on all payroll-related matters, including acting as back-up coverage for holidays or emergencies.
  • Maintain payroll information and records on the CloudPay payroll application.
  • Research discrepancies of payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures.
  • Prepare reports, tax filings, correspondence, and other written materials for compliance with statutory IE authorities.
  • Compile and file required reports for relevant government agencies.
  • Be involved in process improvement initiatives.

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in IE Payroll.
  • 5 GCSEs minimum, A–C, including Maths and English.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent time management, administration skills, and attention to detail.
  • Responsible for prioritising client's payroll and delivering payrolls as required.
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with ability to share information and interact positively with others.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Assertive action and decision-making skills.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
