Role Overview:
CloudM is looking for a Marketing Executive to join our growing team and significantly contribute to our global digital presence. In this hands-on role, you\'ll be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing engaging content across various digital platforms. You\'ll play a key part in establishing our brand tone of voice and positioning across all content.
You\'ll focus on copywriting for social media, developing SEO-rich articles for our website, and crafting compelling email campaigns. You\'ll update and manage content on WordPress and support the wider marketing team with global campaigns. Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Creation:
Develop and execute CloudM’s social media strategy to significantly grow our digital following and engagement, with a strong focus on LinkedIn.
Craft compelling, high-quality digital copy for diverse platforms, including SEO-rich website articles, engaging social media posts, and impactful email marketing campaigns.
Collaborate to establish and consistently maintain CloudM\'s distinctive brand tone of voice and positioning across all content assets.
Support the wider marketing team by developing and maintaining product pitch decks and assets for product campaigns.
Content Management & Optimization:
Own and meticulously manage a detailed content calendar, ensuring timely content delivery and seamless alignment with company-wide initiatives, such as sales campaigns.
Publish and style content on WordPress, expertly applying SEO best practices and interlinking strategies to maximize visibility and user engagement.
Utilize SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Trends, SEMrush, Moz) and a data-driven approach to inform content strategy and report on performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Event Support:
Partner with the broader marketing team to support global campaigns and ensure cohesive content strategies across all initiatives.
Manage and coordinate marketing events from inception to successful execution, collaborating effectively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
- You have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally within a small marketing team, with a proven focus on content delivery and implementation.
- You are highly proficient with WordPress for content publishing and management.
- You have demonstrated experience in managing corporate social media profiles to significantly drive reach and engagement, particularly on LinkedIn.
- You possess strong organizational skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex content calendars and campaign logistics.
- You are a creative thinker with exceptional copywriting skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
- You have a foundational understanding of SEO basics and experience leveraging SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Trends, SEMrush, Moz).
- You are able to create complementary visual assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Familiarity with Hubspot or other email marketing tools is a significant advantage.

Average open and click-through rates for emails, plus social media engagement and website time on page.

Location:
Remote-based role. However, within commutable distance to Manchester would be desirable for the odd team-building activity / meeting.
