You will be primarily working with the following technologies:

Successful candidates for this role are eager to build community via our new program, the Cloudinary Creators Community. They are also high-bar content creators with deep roots as software engineers. You understand developers because you have worked as an engineer, and empathise with what makes their lives easier, how they communicate, their wants, and their needs. You recognise great developer experience (or lack thereof) when you see it, and can take the initiative to help improve it.
You will use your skills and talents to improve developer engagement with our image and video platform. You will be the internal and external champion of best practices that enable developer success with media technology in a variety of ecosystems (tools, frameworks, platforms, stacks) and implementation use cases. And you'll have the opportunity to help us support developers globally through our community program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build community awareness and engagement in our global community, the Cloudinary Creators Community via active engagement and program curation with community members
- Work closely with product management and R&D to provide input into product development decisions that would impact developer experience
- Create developer-friendly content including blogs, curricula and videos partnering with community members
- Support our presence at developer events, whether through booth participation, speaking opportunities, or other forms of developer engagement
About you:
- 7+ years of experience in a DevRel or DevX role
- You have a long history of building technical content, code samples, tutorials, and speaking at events
- You're comfortable building and working with global developer communities
- You're able to create content without heavy reliance on AI, while understanding how to leverage these tools for productivity
- You are a good writer and inclusive communicator
- You engage with various developer communities through podcasts, events, streams, and social media
- You've worked with internal product and engineering teams to shape development priorities that reflect developer feedback and input
- You work well with other DevRel or DevX team members to build joint projects
- You're comfortable with analyzing and measuring the impact of your work
- You are a clear cross-functional communicator
Bonus Points:
- Prior experience working in distributed teams and work environments and multiple time zones
- Familiarity with media management and applied knowledge of media technology applications
We have you in mind. As an employee, you will experience many benefits, including:
- Awesome technology
- Top-talent peers
- Robust vacation & wellness policy
- Annual development stipend
- Catered lunches or a food stipend
