The Lead, Security β EMEA is responsible for overseeing the design, integration, and commissioning of physical and IP based security systems for CloudHQ's data centers in Europe. The role ensures compliance with technical standards and operational reliability across multiple sites. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in data center or mission critical security system delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, coordination, and implementation of IP based security solutions across new data center developments.
- Act as the Security Systems Lead, aligning engineering and vendor resources with overall project requirements and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with CloudHQ technical standards and employer's specifications.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure installations meet quality and technical standards.
- Review and approve technical documentation and design packages before submission.
- Support tender and bid evaluations related to security systems.
- IP CCTV and video monitoring systems
- Access Control Systems (Paxton, CEM, etc.)
- Intruder Alarm Systems (e.g. Galaxy 500)
- Intercom and Panic Alarm Systems
- IPTV and large format display systems
- IRS TV distribution and local monitoring networks
- Integration to ICN/OT systems for operational monitoring
- Engage and manage multiple vendors and security technology partners.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring all security requirements are addressed.
- Act as the point of contact for Authorized Technology Partners and technical queries.
- Stay ahead of emerging security technologies and their application within data center environments.
- Lead internal/external workshops and training focused on physical and cyber integrated security.
- Drive high standards of service and ensure all systems deliver measurable operational reliability.
- 10+ years delivering security systems in mission critical or data center environments.
- Hands on experience with: IP CCTV and storage systems; IP Access Control and management platforms; Intruder alarm and perimeter monitoring systems; Structured cabling related to security; Solid understanding of commissioning, integration, and acceptance testing; Strong project management and problem solving capabilities; Familiarity with data center security standards and regulatory compliance; Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coordinate effectively across dispersed teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Certifications: CSPM, PMP, CompTIA Security+, LEED AP (advantageous).
- Experience working with hyperscale cloud or colocation providers.
