We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to manage and coordinate activities in live tenant areas of operational CloudHQ data centers across multiple European locations. This position requires a detail-oriented, safety-focused professional who can ensure that all construction works are planned, communicated, and executed with zero disruption to ongoing operations while meeting CloudHQ and tenant protocols.
Position Overview
The role focuses on coordinating all aspects of construction activities within operational environments across several European data center sites. Working closely with CloudHQ operations teams, contractors, and tenant representatives, the Construction Coordinator ensures activities proceed safely, efficiently, and in line with all approved documents and procedures. This role requires frequent travel throughout Europe to manage work interfaces, verify compliance, and maintain standards across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Construction Phase: Review and fully interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and high-risk work areas for each site. Identify potential operational impacts and collaborate on solutions to mitigate risk. Evaluate Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRAs) for minimal disruption to live operations, compliance with safety and environmental protocols, noise/vibration/dust control measures, fire prevention, and electrical isolation and LOTO procedures. Manage submission and tracking of documentation, permits, and MSRAs via tenant platforms. Participate in virtual and in-person coordination meetings to establish workflows, responsibilities, and communications.
- Construction Phase: Be present at each site during critical works in live areas to monitor adherence to approved methods and safety procedures. Track and report potential risks to operations such as dust, vibration, or temperature fluctuations. Coordinate with tenant representatives for permits, access scheduling, and system shutdown approvals. Participate in daily or weekly coordination calls, providing project updates and highlighting any issues. Ensure all parties observe relevant CloudHQ, local, and EU safety regulations, including PPE requirements. Confirm that fire safety and environmental protection measures are consistently applied. Maintain agreed housekeeping and cleanliness standards in work areas.
- Post-Construction / Handover: Conduct joint inspections with stakeholders to confirm quality, functionality, and compliance of completed work. Ensure outstanding items are closed before formal handover. Verify that any modifications to the infrastructure maintain the integrity of critical systems.
- Deliverables & Reporting: Timely submission of permits, MSRAs, and related project documents. Maintain high-quality daily records, photographs, and progress logs. Prepare consolidated weekly/monthly reports for multiple active sites. Document incident reports in accordance with CloudHQ and client procedures.
