The Cloudflare Data Intelligence & Analytics (DIA) team has built a unified data & ML platform to provide our internal Business Partners with actionable analytics, insights, and recommendations. Our goals are to:
- Democratize data & intelligence for humans and agents

DIA is a ~ 75-member strong geographically distributed but organizationally centralized team. This role is within the growth & adoption analytics pod based in London that works across several business functions, offering broad exposure to Cloudflare's entire business.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst in London to scale our growth & adoption analytics initiatives. You will be a trusted data advisor to our business partners, a technical coach to your peers, and the lead in terms of shaping AI-first data models, workflows, and agent-ready datasets. Success in this role will rely on marrying a strong analytics background with product and business acumen to deliver highly strategic and compelling insights that accelerate growth and influence adoption. This role also requires a deep understanding of data infrastructure, job orchestration, and lineage, all with the use of AI-tooling as default.
Role Responsibilities
- Own the development and maintenance of agent-ready curated datasets end-to-end
- Provide analytics support and a strategic perspective to our business partners
- Partner with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to enable data-driven answers to key business problems
- Review Merge Requests created by your team of humans and agents
- Take initiative to gather requirements, define, build, and maintain pipelines and metrics
- Tell easily digestible and highly actionable stories with data to help stakeholders understand analytical insights
Role Requirements
- B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields
- Demonstrable proficiency with analytics-relevant AI-tooling
- 4+ years experience in a centralized data analytics teams in close partnership with business stakeholders
- Expert-level proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries is mandatory, with a proven ability to performance-tune complex queries and manage analysis workflows against large, petabyte-scale datasets
- 3+ years experience working in version control environments using platforms such as Gitlab or Github
- 2+ years experience working with job orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, both as a pipeline developer and reviewer
- 2+ years experience with data ingestion and transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, or custom/in-house developed platforms)
- Initiative, curiosity, strong stakeholder engagement, and empathy
- Experience translating business questions into analysis frameworks, converting results into business recommendations and presenting those to stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience and/or a keen interest in internet security, protocols, and edge-development
- Analytics experience in a fast-growing technology, SaaS, or subscription-based business
- Experience with statistical analysis programming languages (Python, R etc.)
