Responsibilities
- Develop and own the longâterm vision and roadmap for critical infrastructure platforms, ensuring worldâclass reliability and efficiency.
- Evangelize the vision across the organization, aligning stakeholders and communicating context and priorities.
- Represent customers, building intimate relationships and championing their voice throughout the product lifecycle.
- Own success metrics, define them at inception, track throughout the lifecycle, and translate insights into actionable hypotheses.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, translating market observations and customer feedback into a prioritized set of requirements.
- Collaborate crossâteam, creating alignment between engineering, operational, support, and other stakeholders.
- Develop new opportunities, discovering and building solutions at the intersection of market pulse, customer needs, and engineering capability.
Qualifications
- Experience presenting new products and features to customers and the broader market.
- Strong empathy for customers and stakeholders, channeling multiple viewpoints into a cohesive vision.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, drive consensus, and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to define and manage complex processes and product issues of broad scope using independent judgment.
- Clear technical communication skills, conveying complex concepts to all audiences.
- Domain expertise in distributed systems, networking, and realâtime applications with heavy network reliance.
- Experience building, configuring, or using cloudâbased network products and RESTful APIs.
- Strong handsâon scripting or programming experience (Python, Go, etc.) and/or web framework knowledge.
Bonus
- BS/MS in a technologyâ or businessârelated field.
- Deep knowledge of networking and industry standards.
- Experience in distributed systems and building networks at scale.
- Understanding of RESTful API design & documentation.
- Prior product management experience.
