The Global Customer Services (GCS) team is the heartbeat of Cloudflare’s post-sales ecosystem. Our mission is to empower customers globally through proactive guidance and expert services to accelerate their time to value and business outcomes. We are responsible for driving product adoption, architecting complex deployments, and ensuring our customers obtain maximum value from the Cloudflare platform.

The AI Innovation Intern will support the Professional Services team by assisting with foundational developer platform tasks and contributing to projects that enable the commercial practice to develop strategies and solutions for deeper market penetration. This role provides hands-on exposure to Cloudflare’s developer ecosystem while working alongside the Global Professional Services Commercial leadership to deliver customer outcomes and strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Build & Prototype: Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven prototypes to automate manual workflows within the GCS ecosystem.
  • Tooling Integration: Work with APIs to integrate AI capabilities into our existing tech stack to provide real-time solutions.
  • Data Wrangling: Partner with our Rev Ops/Sales Ops to identify, clean, and structure high-volume post-sales data for model training and fine-tuning.
  • Prompt Engineering & Optimization: Refine and optimize system prompts and model parameters to ensure high-quality outputs for internal advisory tools.
  • Collaboration: Act as the technical translator, taking high-level optimization ideas from GCS Commercial leadership and turning them into technical requirements and minimum viable products (MVPs).
  • Customer engagement: Working alongside commercial leadership to present solutions to internal stakeholders to deliver external solutions for customer outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
  • Available for a full-time, 12-week internship, working from our London office 3-5 days a week during the fall (Sept-Dec).
  • Be commercially minded and understand basic principles of a Vendor Sales business.
  • Experience building AI Agents and/or other applications leveraging AI.
  • Familiarity with web development concepts, APIs, RAG, Git or developer platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to explain complex technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
