About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Named Account Executive to join our UKI sales team. This is a crucial role responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value, named accounts within the Central Government Defence sectors across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges, procurement processes, and technological needs of UKI Central Government and Defence space organisations. You will be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including CISOs and IT Security and Network helping them to leverage our unique network, cyber security and cloud connectivity products and services, to improve the Central Government and Defence’ cyber security, resilience and application performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans for a defined list of named accounts, focusing on new logo acquisition and revenue growth. Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor for C-level and senior-level client stakeholders. Identify and close new business opportunities within existing accounts by deeply understanding their pain points and aligning our solutions to their strategic objectives.
- Sales & New Business Development: Proactively prospect and identify new opportunities within the Defence sectors, navigating complex government and public sector procurement frameworks. Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and close, ensuring a smooth and successful customer journey. Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, product teams, and professional services to create compelling proposals and demonstrations that showcase our value. Maintain a current and in-depth knowledge of the Central Government and Defence landscapes, including key initiatives, budgets, and technology trends.
