About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Data Capture Technician to operate reality capture equipment, such as 360-degree cameras and other surveying tools, in a variety of environments. The technician will be responsible for capturing comprehensive data of construction sites using different equipment and methodologies that align with algorithmic analysis. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, responsible, and passionate about fieldwork, with the ability to effectively use technology to collect detailed site information. This is a part-time role, requiring one day of work per week.
What You'll Do
- Operate 360° cameras and other surveying equipment to efficiently capture the construction site.
- Document and communicate the progress of the work being done on-site.
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of the site and equipment by strictly following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Project Team to adapt to the needs and requirements of each project.
- Work across multiple construction sites throughout London and Manchester as part of the role.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Availability for at least one day per week during daytime hours.
- Willingness to work on construction sites with potentially challenging conditions.
- Ability to walk extensively and perform some physical tasks as part of the job.
- A positive attitude and strong team player qualities.
- Flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and execute consistently.
- Previous fieldwork experience and a technical orientation are a plus.
- A background in Surveying, Photography, or Construction is highly preferred.
