Role Summary
As a Financial Accountant & Payroll Manager, you will play a key role within the Group Finance function.
You will work closely with various functional stakeholders in HR, Delivery Operations, Sales etc. to maintain accurate financial records and payroll outputs.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for
- Payroll
Processing: Full processing for UK and US entities, including EOR relationships (Deel. com, Rippling, Hire Art etc.) used in the US, UK and Western Europe for non-core staffing (note - excluded field-based DCT Contractors not on payroll and Cloud Workers in the Philippines and Colombia paid via Rippling).
- Journal Management: Processing for Payroll (on Payfit) and monitoring the Rippling integration to ensure seamless sync of payroll journals.
- Expense Management: Processing UK and US employee expenses in Net Suite for reimbursement via payroll.
- Benefits & Compliance: Processing benefit invoices and managing payments for benefits, statutory deductions, and taxes.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts related to payroll.
In addition, to the responsibilities listed above, there will be some additional duties including:
- Quarterly VAT calculations,
- Group VC Accrual calculations,
- Finance System Improvements, and
- Special Project Work at the direction of the Group Financial Controller.
Requirements
- Prior experience of multi-currency bookkeeping and accounting for statutory entities in the US and UK;
- Working knowledge of how Employer-of-Record ('Eo R') relationships work for payroll, commission plans, benefits etc.
- Familiarity with Net Suite General Ledger system
- Self-starter able to conduct routine tasks for smooth running of payroll and accounting, whilst also being able to adopt a principles-based approach to solving non-routine problems and challenges when they arise.
- Confident working with a range of stakeholders including Directors & Officers of legal entities, senior management and other staff who are remote-based in different time-zones.
