Role Summary
We are seeking an externally facing Product Manager to join our Product & Technology organization. This role sits at the intersection of customers, engineering, and internal stakeholders, with accountability for translating client needs into scalable product capabilities and ensuring disciplined execution against the product roadmap. This is an execution‑oriented PM role, ideal for someone early in their product career who has a technical background, is comfortable engaging directly with customers, and can manage multiple concurrent workstreams without losing rigor or clarity.
Product Strategy & Vision
- Own the product strategy and vision for the client‑facing experience of CloudFactory's platform defining where we are going and why.
- Identify and evaluate platform opportunities in the context of CloudFactory's long‑term direction.
- Define and communicate product principles that accelerate and scale decision‑making across the team.
- Contribute to organisational roadmap direction, influencing priorities across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Drive the discipline of maintaining strategic focus in the face of competing client and stakeholder demands.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a senior product authority for enterprise clients, leading scoping conversations, shaping solutions, and managing expectations with confidence and commercial awareness.
- Partner closely with Sales, Solutions, and Delivery teams to support new opportunities and ongoing client engagements, bringing product rigour to commercial conversations.
- Clearly communicate product direction, trade‑offs, and timelines to executive and non‑executive stakeholders across the business and with clients.
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships with key clients, including the ability to push back constructively and say no when client requests conflict with platform strategy.
Product Discovery & Definition
- Lead product discovery using customer interviews, workflow analysis, data‑driven insights, and cross‑client pattern recognition.
- Translate complex, ambiguous client problems into well‑defined product strategies, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Surface non‑obvious insights across the client base and use them to drive product decisions that create leverage across multiple customers.
Roadmap & Execution
- Own and lead a significant area of the product roadmap, ensuring priorities are outcome‑focused, clearly sequenced, and aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with Engineering as a technically credible peer, contributing meaningfully to architectural discussions, challenging implementation approaches where necessary, and ensuring product decisions are grounded in technical reality.
- Track delivery progress, dependencies, and risks across multiple clients and initiatives, proactively driving resolution and making prioritisation calls when things conflict.
- Define and monitor product outcome metrics, owning the results, not just the delivery.
Delivery & Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Lead cross‑functional execution across Engineering, Design, Data, ML, and Operations, bringing clarity, accountability, and momentum to complex workstreams.
- Mentor and support other PMs in the team, sharing knowledge, raising standards, and contributing to a stronger product culture across the organisation.
- Support release planning, documentation, and client‑facing enablement, ensuring launches land well internally and externally.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a Product Manager role, with at least 5 years operating at a Senior or Principal level with significant strategic ownership.
- Demonstrated experience owning a product domain end to end, from vision and strategy through to discovery, delivery, and outcome measurement.
- Proven ability to lead product discovery and define methodology, not just execute within an established process.
- Strong track record of engaging directly with enterprise clients, including managing difficult conversations, scoping complex solutions, and saying no when needed.
- Technically credible, comfortable engaging in architectural and implementation discussions with engineering teams, and able to challenge technical decisions with substance.
- Experience making and communicating build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, APIs, and modern cloud‑based systems.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at an organisational level, across teams, functions, and senior stakeholders, without relying on authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B, enterprise, or platform‑based products with a dual‑sided or multi‑customer dynamic.
- Exposure to AI/ML systems, data platforms, or human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.
- Experience thinking about AI output quality as a product problem, including how to measure, monitor, and improve model performance in production.
- Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience mentoring or developing other product managers.
- Experience working in fast‑growing or high‑ambiguity environments where the platform is still being defined.
What We Look For
- A strategic product thinker who can set direction, not just execute within it.
- Someone who is externally visible and commercially credible with enterprise clients, while maintaining internal rigour and platform discipline.
- A technically confident communicator who can operate as a peer to engineering, not just a requester of it.
- High ownership mindset, accountable for outcomes, not just delivery milestones.
- A PM who can identify what not to build as clearly as what to build, and defend those decisions with evidence.
- Someone who raises the bar around them, sharing knowledge, improving process, and making the team better.
Why Join Us
- Opportunity to own and shape a core platform with real enterprise client impact.
- High exposure to customers, senior stakeholders, and strategic product decisions from day one.
- A role with genuine strategic ownership and significant room to grow as the product organisation scales.
- A global, mission‑driven team working at the intersection of AI, human expertise, and enterprise technology.
