Purpose of Role
Our engineering teams are organized by product lines, bringing together developers, architects, managers, and QA engineers across our offices in Europe. This collaborative environment allows you to work on meaningful projects that shape the future of our products. You will join a cross-functional team of 4–7 members, collaborating with colleagues both on-site and remotely. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, make a measurable impact, and advance your international career in a fast-growing company. As a developer on our Post-Purchase team, your purpose is to design, build, and iterate on checkout and returns experiences that measurably reduce revenue leakage and lift conversion. You’ll collaborate with product and design to turn customer insights into features that streamline returns and exchanges.
Responsibilities
- Build cutting-edge products that bring joy to a better and more creative workplace.
- You’ll be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, testing, and deployment in accordance with the company guidelines concerning coding, architecture, and infrastructure (our tech vision and minimum quality guidelines).
- Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.
- Facilitate collaboration with other engineers, product managers, and QA/Testers to solve problems as well as assist stakeholders in addressing technical aspects of requirements.
- Deliver qualitative-, cost-efficient – and scalable code. This means that you strive to produce simple and reusable code.
- Keep up with new technologies and proactively suggest improvements for future development.
- Ensure a consensus around requirements among the project members and that the products are built accordingly to our definition of done.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with React Native
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, and ReactJS
- A solid understanding of Redux and Flux architectural pattern
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Good knowledge of REST web services
- Understanding of common design patterns
- Knowledge of building native mobile applications for iOS with Objective-C, C/Swift, or Android applications with Java
Nice to have
- Experience with different bundlers such as Vite, Webpack
- Experience with Material UI components library
