Cloudbeds is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our group sales efforts within the EMEA market. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the hotel technology sector. This role will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing a team of Group Sales professionals, and fostering partnerships with key industry stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive regional group sales strategy aligned with Cloudbeds' overall business objectives; identify market opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand market share; analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making; lead, mentor, and motivate a team of group sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets; establish and monitor KPIs to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement; provide regular sales forecasting and reporting to senior management.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and associations; represent Cloudbeds at industry events, conferences, and trade shows; act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the group sales segment; develop and manage a robust sales pipeline; negotiate and close complex sales agreements; collaborate with Marketing to generate leads and support sales efforts.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals; foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture; conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

What Sets You Up for Success:

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success in selling to hotel groups;
  • Established network of contacts within the hotel industry;
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing remote sales teams;
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and enterprise sales processes;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners;
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and execute sales plans;
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales tools;
  • Ability to travel as required.
