As a Lead Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering robust, client-focused Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. You’ll lead project engagements working closely with our PMO and Head of Delivery, mentor junior consultants, and ensure high quality standards of all work delivered, while adopting best practices across the solution lifecycle from discovery through to deployment. You will be instrumental in delivering complex business requirements, creating scalable, effective, and user-centric solutions while driving team success and excellent customer experiences.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that demands both technical and consultative expertise, with a strong emphasis on leadership, planning, and communication. You'll work closely with both clients and our internal teams to ensure every project delivers high value and achieves strategic outcomes.
Job Requirements- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Core Business Applications, including licensing.
- Deep knowledge of the Power Platform, including Power Apps (model-driven and canvas apps), Power Automate (Cloud Flow), AI Builder, Power BI and Co-Pilot.
- Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end business solutions, including data modelling, custom workflows, and automation.
- Experience in chatbot development and basic scripting.
- Strong background in Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and deployment best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead client workshops and drive solution design sessions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across all seniority levels.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Serve as a hands-on lead consultant on client engagements both strategic and tactical.
- Act as a mentor to junior consultants, driving skill development, ensuring high quality standards and best practices across the team.
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuously help improve delivery methodologies and assets.
- Lead on requirements gathering and data model workshops on strategic projects, conduct design workshops for change requests on existing clients and within projects.
- Present build reviews with project stakeholders, run user testing events and deliver Dynamics and Power Platform training.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment between client expectations and delivered solutions.
- Participate in the design of solutions, oversee and be hands-on involved in the build, testing and deployment of solutions.
- Ensure high-quality outputs and adherence to timelines and budget.
- Ensure projects meet agreed-upon scopes, contractual obligations, and KPIs such as billable utilisation and client satisfaction.
- Support sales on pre-sales engagements with technical expertise on proposal input, and client demos.
- Handover projects to the client success team (CST), assisting the team with technical expertise and issue resolution.
- Draft Change Request scopes and contribute to RFPs and product catalogue offerings.
- Stay current on Microsoft ecosystem changes, new features, and licensing models, and facilitate knowledge sharing with the wider team.
- Lead the development of reusable assets, templates, and IP to accelerate future delivery.
- Maintain and renew relevant Microsoft Certifications and support continuous learning in the team.
