A client of mine is looking to advance their use of the Workday Platform and build out their internal technical team to boost their optimisation of the platform and their ROI. This role is looking for a Workday Integration SME to come in and help to design, build, test and maintain Workday integration solutions including APIs, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, RaaS and Studio/Orchestrate.
Role Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert for Workday integrations, serving as the escalation point for configuration and integration challenges, conducting root cause analysis and driving resolution.
- Build and sustain connections to external applications and data warehouses, with responsibility for encryption standards, PGP, secrets management, private endpoints and network configurations.
- Own the movement of data between Workday and connected systems including Payroll, Finance, Identity & Access Management and data platforms.
- Safeguard data integrity through ongoing audits, validations and routine maintenance across downstream systems.
- Manage API operations across SOAP/REST protocols, authentication frameworks and vendor communications, ensuring reliability and performance of integration platforms.
- Drive integration release cycles, including mandatory release reviews, regression testing and break/fix management.
- Keep pace with Workday updates, emerging trends and evolving best practices, translating these into actionable improvements.
- Champion knowledge transfer and mentorship within the HRIS team, and support end-user training and change management efforts tied to Workday developments.
