I’m working with a Microsoft Dynamics partner in the Northwest who are looking to bring in 2–3 Business Central Consultants. They’re part of a much larger international group, but the UK team itself is small, established, and very hands‑on. This is a consultancy environment where everyone gets involved. It’s not a place to hide in a silo or just focus on one narrow part of the system.
The role involves working across full Business Central project delivery, dealing directly with clients and getting involved from early conversations through to go‑live and beyond. There’s a particular need around finance‑led work, so strong finance experience is a big plus, but solid all‑round BC consultants will also be considered.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Delivering D365 Business Central implementations
- Leading or supporting finance modules and processes
- Running workshops and gathering requirements with clients
- Configuring and presenting Business Central
- Supporting testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation work
- Travelling to client sites when required
What they’re looking for:
- Hands‑on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong finance knowledge is preferred
- Manufacturing or distribution experience is helpful but not essential
- Comfortable presenting to clients and working in a consultancy setting
- Happy working in a small team where everyone is accountable
- Willing to travel and be client‑facing
- Finance qualifications are nice to have, not essential
They’re open on level. Junior through to senior is fine as long as the attitude and approach are right.
Additional requirements:
- You need to be based in, or able to commute easily to, the Northwest
- This isn’t a fully remote role
- Being in the office and with clients matters because of how the team works
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level
Employment type: Full‑time
Job function: Information Technology Staffing and Recruiting
