The Role: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well‐established HVAC hire business supporting commercial customers across the region. You will be responsible for service, repair and maintenance of commercial gas and heating equipment, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. As a mobile engineer, you will be travelling to customer sites within a local patch and supported by an experienced internal team, strong stock/parts availability, and excellent systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, fault finding, repair and breakdown response on commercial gas systems
- PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial heating appliances and associated plant
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
- Completing job reports and compliance documentation accurately
- Supporting customers with advice and technical guidance where needed
- Working in line with current Gas Safe regulations and company procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in commercial gas service and maintenance
- Valid Gas Safe commercial qualifications (COCN1 or equivalent)
- A professional approach with strong fault‐finding ability
- A full UK driving licence
- Good customer service skills and a reliable work ethic
- Any experience in HVAC hire, plant hire, or working on packaged systems is beneficial, but not essential
