This is an excellent opportunity for a Fire and Security Engineer who is confident servicing, maintaining and fault finding a range of systems across commercial and customer sites. The Role:
- As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for service, maintenance, fault finding and small works across South Wales.
- You’ll work on a mix of systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control and CCTV.
- You’ll be visiting a range of customer sites, so a professional manner and good communication skills are essential.
Key Duties:
- Service, maintain and fault find Fire & Security systems across South Wales
- Work on fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems
- Carry out reactive callouts and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Install and commission small works and system upgrades when required
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and site health & safety procedures
- Complete job sheets and service reports accurately
- Liaise with customers and provide a high level of service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer / Fire & Security Service Engineer
- Experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
- Comfortable working in a mobile role across South Wales
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused
Desirable:
- FIA / manufacturer training (Gent, Notifier, Morley, Advanced etc.)
- Access control and CCTV networking experience
- ECS / JIB card
