Cloud Recruit Limited are a leading provider of Health & Social Care recruitment services. We are currently searching for a passionate and experienced individual to fill the role of Registered Manager for a Children's home. This is a permanent, full-time position with possibilities for flexible working arrangements, allowing the successful candidate to work on site 4 days per week and 1 day working from home.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of skilled residential support workers in supporting 3 young people with behaviours which challenge
- Develop and implement care plans for each young person
- Ensure that all policies, procedures, and legislation are adhered to, including Health and Safety and Safeguarding
- Provide effective supervision and support for the team, fostering a positive and empowering work culture
- Participate in regular reviews and assessments of the young people in the home
- Represent the home in meetings with external agencies and stakeholders
- Ensure the home is well-maintained and that all necessary equipment and resources are available
- Manage budgets and ensure financial targets are met
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Level 5 in Leadership and Management of Children and Young People's Workforce (we will consider those currently working towards this and can offer enrolment if requirement)
- At least 3 years of experience working with children and young people in the last 5 years with at least 1 year in a supervision and management role of staff working in a care role
- Experience with staff training and development
- Effective supervision and leadership skills
- A full UK Driving Licence
