- Conduct online consultations to assess patient suitability for GLP-1 weight loss treatments.
- Prescribe medications in line with internal protocols, risk assessments, and clinical SOPs.
- Support patients from initial assessment to ongoing care and maintenance, ensuring continuity and safety throughout their weight loss journey.
- Educate patients on medication use, possible side effects, expectations, and lifestyle guidance.
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in line with legal and clinical standards.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced pharmacist prescribers to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Respond to patient queries regarding their treatment, progress, and next steps, offering guidance and reassurance where needed.
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
- Qualification as an Independent Prescriber (IP).
- Previous prescribing experience is desirable.
- Experience prescribing GLP-1s is desirable.
- Familiarity with GPhC guidelines for online pharmacies and the current clinical guidelines for prescribing of injectable weight loss treatments.
- Excellent attention to detail and patient safety.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine interest in weight management and a passion for improving access to healthcare.
