This role sits within a leading global IT solutions and managed services provider with a strong reputation for delivering complex data and AI programmes at scale. The business operates across multiple industries, working with enterprise and public sector customers on modern cloud transformation initiatives. They are hiring a Senior Consultant to join their Data and AI practice, focused on designing and delivering Azure based data platforms and AI solutions for customers. This is a delivery first role with real technical ownership, not slideware or endless internal meetings.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality Azure data and AI solutions as part of a customer delivery team.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
- Design and deploy Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry and Cognitive Services.
- Act as a technical authority within engagements, working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead or contribute to small and medium sized consulting engagements end to end.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth of the wider consulting practice.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to Azure best practice.
Ideal Experience
- 3 to 5 years experience delivering solutions in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong experience designing and implementing Azure data platforms including Fabric, Synapse, SQL and Data Factory.
- Hands on experience deploying Azure AI services into production environments.
- Good understanding of core Azure services including Entra, networking, storage and security.
- Experience with ARM or Bicep, PowerShell, KQL and Python.
- Comfortable working directly with customers and leading technical conversations.
Certifications
- Desirable Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineer DP 600.
