Home based with one day per month in the London office

Company & role

This is an opportunity to join the CTO Office of a global IT managed services provider that is investing in building out its own suite of SaaS products. The business is hiring two Product Managers to take ownership of two distinct platforms, both central to how the company delivers value to its customers.

One platform focuses on technology estate intelligence, bringing together estate data to help customers understand, rationalise and plan transformation activity. The other is a customer experience platform, giving customers a simple, consistent way to access services, information and digital journeys while improving operational efficiency behind the scenes.

The profile for both roles is the same, which is why they are being recruited together. You will own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for your platform, balancing customer needs, commercial value and technical feasibility, and working closely with engineering, design, architecture, sales and customer teams to build genuinely scalable products.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Almost fully remote setup with only one day a month required in London
  • True product ownership, you own the what and the why for a platform, not just a backlog
  • Building real SaaS products from discovery through to adoption, not maintaining someone else\'s roadmap
  • Two platforms being invested in properly, with room to shape direction rather than inherit a fixed plan
  • Sits within the CTO Office of a global business, giving visibility and influence at a senior level
  • Genuine cross functional collaboration across engineering, design, sales, marketing and customer teams
  • Exposure to current market themes across cloud, data, estate management, migration and AI

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap, aligned to customer needs and commercial objectives
  • Lead product discovery through customer interviews, market research, usage data and feedback, validating problems before significant investment
  • Prioritise the roadmap and backlog based on customer value, commercial opportunity, evidence, risk, effort and dependencies
  • Translate product outcomes into clear capability slices, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering and design
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture, security and design throughout discovery and delivery, while remaining accountable for the what and why
  • Define product measures and use adoption, usage, feedback and commercial data to guide decisions and continuous improvement
  • Partner with sales, marketing and customer enablement on positioning, demonstrations, training, launch activity and adoption
  • Simplify complex or fragmented processes into coherent, scalable digital experiences
  • Communicate product progress, risks, decisions and outcomes clearly to customers, delivery teams and senior stakeholders

Ideal Experience

  • Proven Product Manager or Senior Product Owner experience within B2B software, SaaS or a data led platform
  • Experience gained within a SaaS business or a solutions or service provider building customer facing products
  • Strong product discovery, roadmap ownership and evidence based prioritisation skills
  • Experience working with software engineering, design and technical stakeholders in an agile environment
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to connect customer outcomes with adoption, positioning and business value
  • Experience simplifying fragmented or complex processes into clear digital experiences
  • Experience across transformation, infrastructure, CMDB, estate data, analytics, migration planning, customer portals, managed services, ITSM, CRM or enterprise self service is desirable
  • Strong communicator, comfortable engaging customers, delivery teams and senior stakeholders
