This is a hands-on engineering role where you will deliver across migrations, modernisation and cloud native projects, while also supporting ongoing managed services.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Exposure to a wide variety of Azure projects rather than being stuck in pure support.
- Strong focus on modern engineering practices including automation, DevSecOps and governance.
- Opportunity to develop into more advanced areas such as architecture, platform engineering and AI services.
- Growing business where you can have real input rather than just being another number.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver, support and optimise Azure environments across core services.
- Work directly with customers to translate requirements into secure Azure solutions.
- Implement and manage Azure landing zones, governance and platform services.
- Automate infrastructure using IaC and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive improvements across performance, security and cost optimisation.
Ideal Experience
- Strong hands-on Azure engineering experience.
- Experience with Azure networking, migrations, monitoring and security.
- Good knowledge of infrastructure as code and automation tools.
- Understanding of Azure governance, identity and security best practices.
- Background in consultancy or managed services environments is beneficial.
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400 or security focused certifications are highly desirable.
- Naturally curious and proactive with a genuine interest in Azure, likely the type who builds in a home lab, tests new services and keeps up with the latest Microsoft updates without being asked.
