This is a global IT services organisation with a turnover north of £1bn and a serious reputation in digital transformation. They deliver complex infrastructure and cloud platforms across enterprise and public sector customers and they do it properly. No smoke and mirrors.

They are hiring two Platform / DevOps Engineers at different levels. One experienced engineer and one senior level hire. Rather than splitting hairs on titles, they are focused on capability, mindset and delivery quality. You will sit within a specialist delivery practice, working on real customer projects across private, public and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver automated infrastructure solutions across customer projects
• Own or contribute to technical designs depending on engagement size
• Deploy and integrate platform components across private, public and hybrid cloud
• Work with Linux, automation and container technologies as part of broader solutions
• Collaborate with delivery teams and senior engineers to meet project outcomes
• At senior level, lead small to medium engagements and mentor junior engineers
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders

Ideal Experience

• Experience working in a customer-facing, consulting or project delivery environment within another IT solutions provider, Managed Services provider or IT Consultancy business
• Strong hands on VMware experience including technologies such as VCF, NSX, SRM, HCX or Azure, AWS.
• Exposure to Linux, automation and container platforms including Kubernetes
• Experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix or similar
• Comfortable delivering customer facing projects end to end
• Relevant technical certifications and willingness to undergo SC clearance
