Data Centre Optimisation and Azure Arc Specialist

Our Services & Solutions team is growing fast, and we are now hiring a Data Center Optimisation and Azure Arc Specialist to lead customer conversations around Azure Arc, SPLA migration and cloud-first strategies.
This role is ideal for someone who can connect commercial licensing with cloud transformation, bringing value to customers through smart optimisation and modernisation of legacy environments.
What you will do
This is a specialist technical and commercial role focused on helping customers maximise the value of their Microsoft estate through Azure Arc and licensing optimisation.
You will:
- Manage the Data Center Optimisation (DCO) program to drive efficiency and transformation across customer environments
- Convert SQL Server SPLA-based licensing into Azure Arc enabled solutions, showcasing the wider technical and business benefits
- Promote Azure Arc adoption as a stepping stone to cloud transformation and hybrid flexibility
- Engage service providers to convert them into CSP Resellers or migrate their existing licensing and services to Bytes
- Focus on acquiring and onboarding new SPLA customers, working closely with internal teams to support conversion
- Act as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, helping shape Bytes\’ positioning around hybrid cloud and modern licensing
What you will bring
- Proven experience in data center optimisation, licensing, or infrastructure modernisation
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft SPLA, Azure Arc and hybrid cloud environments
- Understanding of CSP frameworks, licensing models and commercial strategies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for service providers and enterprise customers
- A proactive, self-starting approach with strong commercial instincts and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical, sales and partner teams
- Microsoft certifications are helpful but not required. We will support your development in areas like Azure Arc, licensing and hybrid cloud architecture.
