The Role
We’re working with a leading Microsoft partner who are looking to appoint an Azure Security Architect to strengthen their cloud security capability. This is a chance to take a visible, senior position within a growing practice and play a key role in shaping the way their enterprise customers adopt and secure Azure.
The successful candidate will act as the trusted advisor to end clients, designing and implementing modern security solutions that balance business risk, regulatory compliance, and technical best practice. You’ll also contribute to the evolution of their security offerings, ensuring they remain at the forefront of Microsoft’s fast-changing security landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the design and delivery of Azure security architectures for enterprise customers.
- Translating customer requirements into actionable roadmaps and high-quality implementations.
- Driving Zero Trust adoption across identity, data, infrastructure, and apps.
- Working with Microsoft’s full security suite, including Sentinel, Defender, Intune, Entra, Purview, Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
- Supporting pre-sales and proposal activity, adding technical credibility to customer conversations.
- Providing thought leadership around service innovation and security best practice.
- Helping ensure the organisation’s own internal environments remain compliant and secure.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong background in Azure security engineering/architecture, ideally in a consulting or professional services capacity.
- Practical knowledge of cloud security frameworks such as CAF, Well-Architected, CIS, NIST etc.
- Hands-on experience implementing and operating Microsoft’s security technologies at scale.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage technical teams and senior stakeholders alike.
- Industry certifications (e.g. SC-100, AZ-500, SC-300, SC-401) would be highly beneficial.
