This opportunity sits with a well established cloud services provider with a strong reputation for delivering private and hybrid cloud managed services, alongside a growing XaaS portfolio. The business has a credible enterprise proposition, a mature delivery capability, and an experienced presales function backing every deal.

They are now investing further in new business firepower. This is a pure hunter role focused on winning new logos across mid-market and enterprise customers, selling MRR-led cloud managed services into IT, procurement and C-suite stakeholders.

You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to commercial close, with the presales and technical teams shaping solutions alongside you.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • A genuine new business role with a realistic £200K OTE, built on a mature MRR-based commercial model rather than one off project sales.
  • You are selling a proposition that exists. The delivery, technical and presales capability is already in place, so deals get built and closed, not promised and dropped.
  • Mid-market and enterprise patch with real autonomy over how you go to market.
  • Longer, considered cloud sales cycles where consultative selling and senior stakeholder relationships actually matter.
  • A leadership team that wants a BDM to settle in, build a patch, and grow with the business rather than churn through territories.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and win new business across mid-market and enterprise customers, with a focus on private cloud, hybrid cloud and XaaS managed services.
  • Build and execute your own go-to-market plan across target sectors and accounts.
  • Develop senior level relationships across IT, procurement and C-suite.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to commercial negotiation and close.
  • Work hand in hand with presales and technical teams to shape solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and reporting through CRM.
  • Represent the business at industry events, customer briefings and partner activity.
Ideal Experience
  • Proven new business sales track record within an MSP, cloud services provider or XaaS environment.
  • Strong commercial background selling MRR-led managed services rather than one off project or product sales.
  • Comfortable owning longer, consultative cloud sales cycles into mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architectures across private, hybrid and public, including virtualisation and IaaS, PaaS and SaaS service models.
  • Confident engaging at C-suite, IT leadership and procurement level.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, with the ability to shape and structure complex deals.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot to manage pipeline and forecasting.
  • A stable career history with a genuine interest in building something long term rather than moving every twelve months.
