A leading UK cloud and managed services provider is seeking a skilled Azure Lead Consultant to join their Professional Services Delivery team on a 6-month contract. The business supports clients with transition, transformation, and modernisation across private and public cloud, helping organisations to innovate securely and effectively.
This role focuses on Microsoft Azure, working with clients to scope, design, and deliver secure cloud solutions. You’ll be at the forefront of digital transformation projects, contributing technical expertise while engaging directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops in line with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
- Create low-level design documentation and migration plans
- Deploy Microsoft Azure solutions across IaaS and PaaS
- Support cloud assessments, migration planning, and landing zone configuration
- Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure delivery within time and budget
- Stay abreast of new Azure technologies, contributing recommendations to improve standards
Ideal Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering within the Microsoft Azure platform
- Strong background in Microsoft partner (consultancy / managed services) environments (Essential)
- Certified in Microsoft Azure (Administrator Associate, Solutions Architect, Network Engineer etc.)
- Hands‑on expertise with Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, SQL, App Services, Storage, Monitoring, Security Centre, and Site Recovery
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender suite and Zero Trust security principles (Nice to have)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to run client‑facing workshops
