Job Description:

Systems Engineering Lead – Manufacturing IO (VHM Program)

Strategic role connecting plant operations with engineering and VHM teams.

Leads requirements engineering and system architecture definition (MBSE/SysML).

Ensuring integration across vehicle systems, plant IT, and diagnostic platforms.

Acts as key stakeholder interface across manufacturing, engineering, and program teams.

Enables full ECU software update capability within manufacturing (flash coverage).

Improves Right First Time (RFT), throughput, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Manufacturing IO as systems engineering lead within VHM.
  • Capture, manage, and trace manufacturing requirements using standard tools (DOORS/TRM).
  • Define system architecture and maintain SysML models.
  • Establish interfaces across diagnostics platforms, plant IT, and infrastructure.
  • Translate plant needs into actionable engineering specifications.
  • Enable deployment of wireless and remote diagnostic capabilities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and integration challenges.
  • Support flash tower strategy and innovation roadmap.
