The Royal Armouries is the United Kingdom’s national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world, housed at its headquarters and flagship museum in Leeds, its historic home at the Tower of London, and the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Store Assistant Manager to play a key role in our existing Retail team in Leeds. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic candidate who is passionate about retail in a museum environment, who will support the Retail Store Manager with the day-to-day operations as well as managing a customer-facing, sales driven team.
The successful candidate must be able to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment, have strong leadership and communication skills with the drive to deliver an outstanding retail experience for our visitors to the museum and online.
Hours
37.5 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.
