Purpose of the Role
The Finance Manager will be a critical financial liaison between local operations and Beijing headquarters, overseeing financial reporting, project accounting, and corporate financial governance for BCEGI.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the managing director and liaising with local finance, subcontractors, and suppliers on BCEGI’s financial matters.
- Responsible for dealing with all routine reports to Beijing HQ, including capital and cash flow plans, using OA, NC software to perform monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting, tax reporting and budgeting.
- Project accounting on quarterly intervals.
- Liaising with HQ to arrange performance bond and parent company guarantees.
- Dealing with banking matters.
- Liaising with HQ audit teams, overseeing UK statutory/external audits.
- Responsible for the approval of payroll via OA system.
Work Experience / Expectations
Deep understanding of financial reporting standards, corporate budgeting processes, and cross-border financial compliance, particularly in an international construction project context. Strong analytical skills for interpreting project and consolidated financial data. Proficiency in financial ERP and office automation systems; ability to quickly learn and operate specialist finance platforms.
Qualification / Health & Safety Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
