We\’ve a newly created opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our new Birmingham office. The role will be varied and fully office based. You\’ll provide a wide range of facilities and administration support for the office.

What will I be doing

  • Providing general administrative support including photocopying and scanning documents, binding, post handling, and court deliveries.
  • Assisting departments and fee earners as required.
  • Providing Health & Safety support. You\’ll act as an office fire warden and first aider (training will be provided) and you\’ll receive an additional allowance for each skill.
  • Monitoring compliance with ISO27001 and ISO14001 (confidential waste, recycling etc.) as directed by the Facilities Manager and Facilities Coordinator.
  • Acting as a central point of liaison between the Firm and our serviced office provider (Cubo). This would involve arranging meeting rooms, dealing with visitors to the Firm, maintenance requests, etc.
  • Stationery stock control and liaising with the Facilities Coordinator on ordering.
  • Providing basic IT support.
  • Ensuring client and visitor confidentiality at all times.

You\’ll have

  • Great customer service skills / client care focus.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills. You\’ll be proactive and able to work using your own initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and other IT packages.
  • Previous experience working within a similar role.
  • Previous experience working within a Professional Services or Legal environment would be advantageous but not essential.
