As Merchandising Coordinator, you'll be the operational hub for all things merch at Cloud Imperium Games, with a particular focus on the Squadron 42 launch. You'll manage relationships with our merchandise vendors end-to-end -- from product development and sampling through to fulfilment and delivery -- ensuring our community gets high-quality products that reflect the CIG brand.

Founded in 2012 by renowned game developer Chris Roberts, Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) is one of the largest global independent studios, dedicated to delivering next-generation AAA games. CIG prides itself in thinking outside the box, encouraging creativity and developing ground-breaking technology. CIG believes in raising the bar for the gaming industry and the gaming community as a whole.

What you'll do:

  • Manage relationships with merchandise vendors across all product categories, acting as the primary point of contact for briefs, sampling, approvals, and delivery
  • Coordinate product development timelines to ensure launch-aligned delivery across all merchandise lines
  • Review samples and liaise with internal stakeholders on approvals, quality, and brand compliance
  • Track purchase orders, shipments, and inventory levels, flagging risks to timelines or supply early
  • Support the planning and execution of merchandise launches tied to Squadron 42 campaign milestones
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, pricing, and product specifications
  • Work closely with the marketing, creative, and community teams to align product launches with wider campaign activity

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a merchandising, product coordination, or vendor management role -- ideally within games, entertainment, or consumer products
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and quality
  • Comfortable managing multiple vendors and product lines simultaneously
  • Experience tracking orders and managing timelines across supply chains
  • A collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and ops teams
  • An understanding of what fans expect from licensed merchandise
