About the Role: As a Junior Animator, you will join a talented team of Gameplay Animators and Designers to create engaging combat and social gameplay. You will help bring the vast universe of Star Citizen and Squadron 42 to life by animating Players, AI, Creatures. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work directly with designers and programmers to bridge the gap between artistic performance and technical implementation.
What do our Junior Animators do?
- Develop fluid, realistic animations for combat and social gameplay.
- Develop motion capture data and keyframe animation for in-game assets.
- Collaborate with leadership to design and build branching animation flowgraphs and behaviours.
- Work in a collaborative but distributed team environment, frequently communicating with teams in UK, EU and USA.
What do we expect from our Junior Animators?
- Experience using Maya, MotionBuilder, and other equivalent software.
- A strong grasp of animation fundamentals, with the ability to create smooth, realistic movements.
