About the Role
We\βre looking for a Jira Administrator to join our team working onsite at our Manchester studio. This role will be an integral part of the Systems Analysis team, which focuses on all corporate administrative technologies and processes. While this includes survey analysis and Workday, this role will have heightened responsibilities for our Atlassian products, especially Jira and Confluence. This person will work collaboratively with management and stakeholder teams and departments to support the ongoing maintenance, improvement, and new deployments.
What does a Jira Administrator do at Cloud Imperium?
- Assists in configuring and testing new or enhanced business processes for Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management plus related plugins (like Structure and JEMH) to include custom workflows, global settings, users and groups, screens, fields, permission schemes, post functions, dashboards, automations, plans, etc.
- Assists with various Atlassian system rollouts such as new releases, adoption and implementation of new functionality, and business process configuration changes, including review and testing prior to go-live as needed.
- Helps gather all relevant information related to projects based on both customer requests and internal department optimization efforts.
- Collaboratively supports the creation of materials for all related training, programs, and change management from new hire onboarding to manager training, UI updates to new process adoption.
- Primary contact on Tier 1 requests for Atlassian system(s) where you will investigate, troubleshoot and fix issues related to Atlassian tools suite. Which will require collaboration with various resources, both internal and external, to resolve issues and to proactively remain informed about Atlassian system enhancements.
- Collaborates on Tier 2 requests for Atlassian system(s) integration issues, complex automation or access issues.
