We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee the day to day delivery of electrical installations across our project portfolio. You will be the key point of contact on site, responsible for managing operatives, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining programme, and upholding our health and safety standards.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, you will be expected to lead by example, support your team technically, and represent Cloud Electrical professionally with clients, main contractors, and other trades. Above all, we want someone who finds ways to make things work, not reasons why they cannot.

- Manage and direct a team of electricians and apprentices, allocating tasks and monitoring daily output.
- Liaise with the main contractor, client, and other trades to coordinate works and resolve site issues promptly.

- Enforce company health and safety policies on site at all times.
- Carry out and review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) prior to works commencing.
- Conduct toolbox talks and inductions for site operatives.
- Maintain accurate records of site inspections, near misses, and incidents.
- Ensure all operatives hold valid CSCS/ECS cards and relevant certifications.
- Ensure all installations meet the required quality standards and are completed to a high standard of finish.
- Carry out or oversee periodic inspection and testing as required.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Identify and flag design queries, variations, and potential programme impacts to the project manager.
- Understand the scope of works and flag any items that are outside contract scope.
- Support the project manager with accurate labour allocation records, materials reconciliation, and variation records.
- Minimise waste and support efficient use of materials and labour on site.
- Fully qualified electrician, City & Guilds 2360/2365 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
- 18th Edition (BS 7671) Wiring Regulations, current certification required.
- ECS/CSCS Gold Card or above.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or leading hand role on commercial projects.
- Proven ability to manage a team of 4+ operatives on live construction sites.
- Confident reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company professionally.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
- SMSTS or SSSTS site management safety certificate.
- Experience across a range of sectors: industrial, retail, residential, or public sector.
- First Aid at Work certificate.
- Integrated building systems knowledge (data, fire alarm coordination, security, mechanical interfaces).
- Solutions-focused mindset, you see a challenge as something to solve, not a reason to stop.
- Natural leader, able to motivate and direct a team while maintaining a positive site culture.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Professional, reliable, and confident representing Cloud Electrical at all levels.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting demands.
- Committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Overtime opportunities as the project demands.
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- Contribution, loyalty, and leadership recognised and rewarded, not just job titles.
