Ready to shape the future of cloud transformation? We’re looking for a visionary Principal Azure Architect to lead the way in delivering innovative Azure solutions that drive real value for our customers.
As a key team member in our Azure Practice, you’ll bring together strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a passion for cloud technology to help our clients realise their ambitions. You’ll act as a trusted partner, guiding customers through every stage of their journey—from shaping ideas to delivering impactful results.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with customers to develop and deliver Azure and infrastructure strategies that align with their goals and capabilities.
- Support Sales Engagements: Work closely with sales teams to provide technical insights, shape customer solutions, and support engagement planning.
- Understand Needs: Collect and prioritise technical and business requirements, ensuring solutions align with customer objectives.
- Design Solutions: Lead workshops, explore ideas with customers, and turn them into clear, actionable solution designs.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Offer technical support and direction across projects to ensure quality, best practices, and consistent delivery.
- Lead Customer Engagements: Oversee delivery activities, ensuring smooth execution and positive outcomes.
- Act as a Trusted Partner: Build relationships with stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide valuable, thoughtful advice.
- Contribute to Innovation: Stay up to date with industry trends, share knowledge across the team, and participate in events and forums.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience designing and delivering Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Understanding of cloud transformation, modern deployment practices, and application architecture.
- Knowledge of infrastructure, including Landing Zones, virtual machines, app services, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, AKS, SQL (PaaS/IaaS), AVD, and Windows 365.
- Awareness of governance, compliance, and security principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected Frameworks.
- 8+ years in architecture or solution design, with a focus on Azure.
- Experience developing strategic visions and delivery roadmaps with stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with a range of delivery models including Agile and Waterfall.
- Proven success leading customer-focused engagements and solution development.
- Experience in presales, including solution design and proposal support.
