We're working with a growing Microsoft Solutions Partner that delivers Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Power Platform and AI solutions to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they're looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to join their Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering successful customer outcomes. This is not a project coordinator position. The successful candidate will take ownership of customer projects from initiation through to completion, acting as the primary point of contact while working closely with Solution Architects and Technical Consultants to ensure successful delivery.
The Role
- You will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent customer projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
- Projects are typically delivered within a professional services environment using a blend of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- The role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance customer expectations with successful delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent customer projects from initiation through to completion.
- Own project planning, scheduling, governance and reporting.
- Manage project budgets, commercials and profitability.
- Lead customer communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Control project scope, risks, issues and change requests.
- Coordinate project resources, consultants and delivery teams.
- Facilitate Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches where appropriate.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of project delivery processes.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- 5+ years' experience delivering customer-facing software projects.
- Experience within a Microsoft Partner, consultancy, agency or professional services environment.
- Proven experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity.
- Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets, resource planning and project profitability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing governance, reporting, risks, issues and change control.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of project outcomes.
Desirable Experience
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE delivery experience.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central delivery experience.
- Power Platform project delivery experience.
- Copilot or AI-related project delivery experience.
- Experience working within Time & Materials delivery models.
