About the role…
Cloud Decisions have partnered with a fast-growing Consultancy practice that looks after a number of high-profile customers in multiple sectors. The consultancy is at a new stage of growth and fresh development pathways have been set to assist more clients with their transformation journeys. We are looking for a pioneering & dynamic 3rd Line Engineer that is looking for professional advancement in a forever growing organization.
About you…
To be successful in this role you will need to have a broad understanding of the technologies that the organization deploys and manages. You will have an outward looking view and be curious about new technologies in this forever changing environment. You will always seek to understand the customers viewpoint and you will have the ability to provide technical support and guidance to exciting organizations and more junior members of staff. Ideal candidates will live within commuting distance of our newly refurbished Cardiff office. You will be joining a team of dedicated and hardworking individuals who care deeply about what they do, but also care deeply about a work-life balance.
As an experienced 3rd Line Engineer, there will also be an expectation to:
- Be a key technical contact for customers
- Provide training and support to junior members of staff
- Work through assigned Service Desk tickets
- Attend customer sites when required
- Visit Datacentres and carry out tasks when required
Key technical requirements (Knowledge of most, not all of the following):
- VMware
- Cisco
- Knowledge of Linux
- Veeam
- vSphere
- Windows Server
- Office365
- Exchange
- SQL
- WatchGuard Firewalls
- Cisco ASA
- Kaspersky AV
Additional Requirements Include:
- Have a full driving license
- Undertake travel to customer sites as required in addition to technology office locations
- Flexibility; the ability to work out of hours where necessary
