We're working with a growing Microsoft Partner that is investing heavily in its AI capability, with a strong pipeline of live projects designing, building and deploying AI agents across the Microsoft ecosystem.
They're looking for a hands-on Senior AI Developer to join the team and help deliver secure, production-ready AI applications for their customers. This isn't a pure ML or Data Science position. You'll need a strong background in full-stack software engineering, ideally across one or more of:
- React / Node.js
- .NET / C#
- Python / FastAPI
You'll also have commercial experience working with technologies such as:
- Azure AI Foundry and Foundry Agents
- Azure OpenAI
- Azure AI Search
- Cognitive Services
- Azure Machine Learning
- RAG and agentic workflows
You'll work directly with customers, turning business requirements into practical solutions and taking projects from initial concept through to production. Beyond project delivery, you'll have the opportunity to shape how the business approaches AI-powered software development—creating reusable components, establishing best practices and helping build a new service line within the Microsoft Partner channel.
Previous experience within a Microsoft Partner, MSP or consultancy would be useful, but genuine hands-on development experience is the priority. Hybrid working from Reading or Manchester. Up to £85,000 initially, with flexibility for highly capable candidates.
If you're a strong software engineer who is already building with AI, rather than simply learning about it, please apply or get in touch for more information.

✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills
For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
