About the Company

Our client is an established software solutions provider with over 30 years of experience helping organisations improve their operations through innovative business software. They're known for delivering excellent customer service and investing in the development of their people.

The Role

As a Junior ERP Consultant, you'll work closely with customers to troubleshoot system issues, configure software, deliver training, and support ERP implementations. The business specialises in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, but we're happy to consider candidates with experience supporting any ERP or CRM platform, including Dynamics NAV, Dynamics 365, SAP Business One, Sage, NetSuite, Epicor, Infor, Oracle or Salesforce. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, understanding business processes, and wants to build a long-term career in ERP consultancy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide application support for ERP and business software users.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, identifying root causes before escalating where possible.
  • Configure systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Deliver user training and support customers with best practices.
  • Assist with implementations, upgrades and data migrations.
  • Understand customer business processes and recommend system improvements.
  • Document support cases and collaborate with senior consultants on more complex projects.

About You

You’ll have experience supporting an ERP, CRM or other business application and enjoy investigating issues rather than simply escalating them. Strong communication skills, a customer‑focused approach, and a genuine interest in business systems are essential. Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
  • Dynamics 365 CE
  • SAP Business One
  • Sage
  • NetSuite
  • SQL or reporting tools
  • Finance, manufacturing, supply chain or operational business processes

Why Apply

This is a fantastic opportunity to launch a long‑term career in ERP consultancy. You'll be mentored by experienced consultants and gradually take on more responsibility across implementations, customer workshops, solution design and consultancy projects. You’ll gain hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, develop valuable consulting and business analysis skills, and have a clear progression path into ERP Consultant and Senior ERP Consultant roles. With a hybrid working model (2 days per week in the Poole office), ongoing training, and genuine opportunities for career development, this role is ideal for someone looking to move beyond support and build a rewarding career in business applications.

We particularly want candidates from roles such as Junior ERP Consultant, ERP Support Consultant, Application Support Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Software Support Consultant, or ERP/CRM super users looking to move into consultancy.
