They are now looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their growing Service Support team in a customer-facing role focused on delivering high-quality, reliable, and empathetic technical support. You’ll work across Microsoft 365, server infrastructure, and networking technologies, helping customers operate securely, efficiently, and confidently. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years’ experience in an MSP or IT reseller environment who enjoys problem-solving, customer interaction, and continuous learning.
You’ll collaborate closely with customers, internal engineers, and service teams to deliver high-quality support while contributing to internal projects and continuous service improvement.
The RoleAs an Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will deliver exceptional 1st and 2nd line support via phone, email, and messaging, act as a trusted point of contact for customers by owning and resolving technical issues, and support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online and Entra ID. You’ll administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Active Directory environments, investigate and resolve infrastructure, desktop, and networking issues, and document all work clearly in line with defined support frameworks. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams on projects and service improvements, occasionally provide onsite customer support, and proactively identify opportunities to improve customer environments.
Key Responsibilities- Microsoft 365 administration and support (must-have)
- Desktop and end-user support across Microsoft applications
- Windows Server administration including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Azure, Hyper-V, and VMware troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals (WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN – desirable)
- Backup, security, and endpoint protection support
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical users
- Maintaining high service and documentation standards
Required skills and experience include 2+ years’ experience in an infrastructure or support engineering role, ideally within an MSP or IT reseller environment, strong Microsoft 365 and Active Directory knowledge, solid Windows Server and desktop support experience, and an understanding of core networking principles. You’ll be a confident and professional communicator with strong troubleshooting and organisational skills, and you’ll be willing to attend customer sites when required.
Desirable experience includes exposure to Intune, Microsoft Teams VoIP, networking devices, Azure infrastructure, and security best practices.
