Overview
Big insurance has a problem: legacy tech can’t keep up with modern demands. This role is about fixing that. Our client is building a next-gen ratings engine – cloud-native, event-driven, scalable to the hilt – and they need someone who knows their way around Azure Functions, Service Bus, and C# like the back of their hand. It\’s going to be leadership, design, and delivery of something new, with the freedom to set the standard for engineering best practice.
What you’ll actually be doing
- Architecting and delivering a modern ratings engine in Azure
- Driving event-driven microservices architecture with Functions + Service Bus
- Understanding of Blazor Front-End Frameworks to built slick customer journeys, UI and UX
- Leading by example – mentoring, setting the technical vision, and embedding best practice
- Owning CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code in a real Azure environment
- Working across engineering, product, and business teams to make things happen
