Scale-Up Microsoft Solutions Partner | Build the Sales Function

Up to £70,000 + Double OTE + Future Equity

I’m working with a genuinely exciting Microsoft-focused consultancy that’s at a really interesting stage of growth. They’re already delivering across Azure, AI, DevSecOps, Power Platform, and Application Modernisation, but what makes this one stand out is they’re not just another consultancy body shop. Alongside the services business, they’ve built their own SaaS platform focused on continuous security, compliance, and governance visibility across Azure DevOps environments. It’s already gaining traction in regulated sectors and solves a very real problem for enterprise engineering and security teams.

Now they’re looking for a Head of Microsoft Sales to come in and build the commercial engine properly. This isn’t a “manage an existing team and keep the lights on” role. This is build, shape, scale. They want someone who can own the GTM strategy, drive enterprise sales, build pipeline, strengthen Microsoft partner relationships, and help turn a high-performing technical business into a serious commercial growth story. If you enjoy building from the ground up, having real influence, and operating close to founders in a high-growth environment, this is the kind of role that doesn’t come around too often.

The Role

  • You’ll take ownership of the sales function across both consultancy services and SaaS offerings.
  • Building and executing the commercial and go-to-market strategy.
  • Developing pipeline generation and outbound sales motions.
  • Winning new enterprise customers across cloud, security, DevOps, and AI.
  • Growing relationships within the Microsoft ecosystem and partner network.
  • Helping position and scale their Azure DevOps security platform.
  • Selling into regulated sectors including financial services and public sector.
  • Working closely with founders and technical leadership on growth strategy.
  • Creating structure, process, forecasting, and commercial maturity as the business scales.
  • Helping define future sales hires and wider commercial growth plans.

What They’re Looking For

This needs someone commercially sharp, credible with enterprise customers, and comfortable operating in a scale-up environment. It’ll be a strong fit if you...

  • Built or scaled a sales function within a cloud, DevOps, security, or Microsoft consultancy.
  • Closed complex enterprise deals.
  • Sold consultancy, managed services, SaaS, or platform-led offerings.
  • Worked within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Sold into highly regulated industries.
  • Been hands-on with GTM strategy and pipeline generation.
  • Operated in a founder-led or scale-up environment where adaptability matters.
  • Combined strategic thinking with genuine hands-on execution.

Bonus points if you’ve worked around:

  • Azure.
  • Cloud Security.
  • DevSecOps.
  • Platform Engineering.
  • Power Platform.
  • Azure DevOps.
  • Application Modernisation.

Why This One Stands Out

There’s a lot of noise in the Microsoft partner space at the moment. Very few businesses actually feel different. This one does. They’ve got deep technical credibility, a modern cloud/security offering, and a product story that gives them genuine differentiation in the market. You’d be joining early enough to shape the future direction of the business, but with enough traction already there to build on something real. If you’re a Microsoft commercial expert who enjoys building, scaling, and creating momentum rather than inheriting layers of process and politics, it’s well worth a conversation.
