As a Microsoft Cloud Engineer, you will be working with end users, alongside other staff and liaising with suppliers, as appropriate. You will also work to maintain key infrastructure support processes, and check that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures.

Key responsibilities:
  • Address incoming escalations and assist in a variety of Project Delivery.
  • Dive into a range of complex and engaging projects across M365 (and some general infrastructure) with an aim to deliver the highest possible solution possible!
  • Help build and deploy customer projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Ensure customer documentation and process guides are regularly updated.
  • Provide expert technical assistance to varying accounts.
  • Ensure constant development in your Microsoft Cloud skills.
  • Provide technical assistance to colleagues within the service desk.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft and other suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service.

This role will be predominantly focussed on Project Delivery with the occasional piece of escalation support work passed to you.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure (Predominantly M365).
  • Qualifications: Professional certifications such as AZ or MS series certifications (covering Azure or M365).
  • Required Technical Experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with Entra ID + Identity.
  • Deployment of Microsoft 365 products, including SharePoint/OneDrive and Teams etc.
  • Management and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2008-2019, including Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory.
  • Understanding of security concepts, compliance and governance.
