Cloud Decisions is partnering with one of Microsoft’s closest delivery partners and an Azure Expert MSP to hire a Data Pre-Sales Architect. This is a key role within a high-performing pre-sales function, supporting enterprise and mid-market customers on their journey to modern, cloud-native data platforms.

This opportunity suits an experienced data consultant or pre-sales specialist who enjoys customer engagement, solution design, and shaping modern data strategies across Azure.

As a Data Pre-Sales Architect, you’ll work closely with sales, delivery, and Microsoft to help customers define their data platform strategy, modernisation, and cloud migration plans. You’ll support bids and proposals, contribute to RFP responses, and present Azure data solutions through workshops, demos, and events.

You’ll also play a role in shaping new data consultancy offerings, helping position the business as a trusted advisor rather than a traditional “sell-and-go” partner.

  • Support technical pre-sales activities across data and analytics opportunities
  • Design high-level Azure data architectures and provide estimates and strategy
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Power BI, Cosmos DB)
  • Strong understanding of data modernisation, migration, and analytics
  • Azure data certifications such as DP-900 and DP-203 (or working towards them)
  • Experience with AI/ML, real-time analytics, or advanced data platforms
  • Exposure to Power Platform and Microsoft 365
  • Additional certifications (DP-300, AI-102, AZ-305)
